NEW YORK CITY // A FAMILY TRIP
Last month, I had the opportunity to travel out to New York City to volunteer for a ministry that I'm really passionate about called Inheritance of Hope (IOH). If a parent has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, IOH brings them on a "Legacy Retreat" either to NYC or Disney where they have the opportunity to make memories as a family and learn what it truly means to leave a legacy for your family. If you want to read more about the ministry, you can check out their website here.
Once the retreat ended Brad and Emery flew out to join me and our stay in New York City was an incredible experience! We saw so much but some of my favorite things were Central Park, the 9/11 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge and the Dumbo area just to name a few. After a 10 day long trip I feel satisfied with all of the ground we covered and boy did we cover ground with a grand total of 165,465 steps during our stay. I will definitely want to visit New York again but for now I'm enjoying the coziness of being home for the holiday! All of these images were taken on 35mm and medium format film (Portra 400 & 800) and film processing was done by The Find Lab.
